Tiles are placed face down in the play area are turned over when a player occupies a space.  Cards indicate what results from the player’s movement.

Hazard

These are situations that require skill or player may suffer adverse effects.

  • Asteroids! Roll > 10 to avoid. Deal 1D12 damage.
  • Minefield. Roll > 15 to avoid.  Deal 1D20 damage

Anomaly

Rare

These are unexpected and strange occurrences.

  • Purple void teleports ship 1D6 spaces and deals 1D12 damage
  • Radiation storm, crew takes 1D20 damage

Situations

 

Common

Situations are challenges that player and can lead to a reward

 

 

  • Abandon ship with 1D4 items.
  • Lost crew.  Will give 1D12 gold for repair items.

Civilization

Common

These defines a found planet or other populated area.  Players can purchase items, repair ships and get mission cards.

  • Small outpost on planet with 30 items for sale.
  • Major planet with all items available and repair center.

Encounter

Rare

Their are two types of encounters merchants and adversaries.

  • Two adversaries 50% strength
  • Merchant with 10 items at 150% cost.

Facts

Rare

This is a card that a player receives if the uncover a clue. The number of clues is known at the beginning of the game.

Aggressors

Rare

If the game has bosses to defeat, the player receives this card if they defeat an adversary. The Adversaries are defined before the game is played.
